Can reimburse your nonrefundable, pre-paid Trip payments/deposits, up to the amount insured (up to the maximum), if cancellation occurs before your scheduled departure because of covered reasons detailed in the plan. These covered reasons may include illness, injury, death, strike, and weather.
Trip Interruption
Can reimburse (up to the maximum) your non-refundable prepaid and unused land or water Trip payments when your Trip is interrupted after departure because of covered reasons by the plan. Coverage may include reimbursement for additional transportation expenses to join or rejoin the Trip or to return home.

If your trip is delayed 12 hours or more due to covered reasons, you can be reimbursed for certain additional expenses, up to the maximum benefit amount. Covered reasons may include carrier-caused delays, lost passport, strike, and the weather.
Missed Connection
The plan can reimburse you up to a maximum of $1,500, for certain expenses including additional transportation costs and reasonable accommodations if you miss your cruise or tour departure because your arrival at the Trip Destination is delayed 3 or more hours due to a covered reason.
Reimbursement of Miles & Rewards
If you cancel your trip for a covered reason, benefits can be paid up to $75, for any penalty cost of depositing the miles or rewards back in the account from which they were removed. This will not duplicate any benefits paid under the Trip Cancellation benefit.
Accident & Sickness Medical Expense
Can pay for covered medical expenses incurred as a result of a covered Injury or Sickness first occurring on your Trip, up to the plan maximum. Included are related medication expenses and emergency dental treatment while on the trip.

All evacuations require advance notification to the Worldwide Travel Assistance Center.
