How Study USA-HealthCare Works

1. You receive Medical Care

  • Visit your doctor
  • Visit urgent care
  • Visit the hospital
  • Visit the emergency room
  • Get a prescription
  • Etc.
GDPR residents:

2. You receive a Bill

  • At time of service, or
  • After service

3. You pay a portion of the Bill

  • 1 routine wellness exam per member is covered at 100% (no cost to you)
  • For all other care, you pay the amount up to the deductible, then:
  • Basic and Standard plans: Study USA pays 80% of the remaining covered expenses up to the benefit maximum (in-network)
  • Preferred plan: Study USA pays 80% of the remaining covered expenses up to $25,000, then Study USA pays 100% up to the benefit maximum (in-network)
  • Platinum plan: Study USA pays 85% of the remaining covered expenses up to $10,000, then Study USA pays 100% up to the benefit maximum (in-network)

4. You file a Claim for Study USA to pay remaining expenses

  • Complete and sign a Claim Form
  • Include itemized bills from physicians, hospitals, etc.
  • Include receipts for any expenses you paid
  • Mail all items to the insurer
