National Trust Tours Travel Plan w/ CFAR
Booking a trip or vacation is exciting. And when you first book your trip, you’re fairly certain you’re going to go. But life can throw you a curve and suddenly you need to cancel or postpone your trip. The Trip Cancellation benefit covers a list of reasons—most commonly your or a family member's illness. But what if something other than the covered reasons happens, like:
- You simply change your mind
- An unexpected event for your child or grandchild
- A work-related obligation
- Weather concerns (example: not enough snow for the ski trip)
- Fear of traveling to an area
- A personal family issue
- A pet’s illness
Cancel for Any Reason benefit will reimburse up to 70% of your trip costs not covered under regular benefits. To qualify, coverage must be purchased within 21 days of initial trip deposit; you must insure 100% of trip cost that are subject to cancellation penalties; and the trip must be cancelled at least 2 days prior to the scheduled departure.
The optional Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) benefit covers you when you cancel for any reason not covered by the Trip Cancellation benefit.
This benefit is not available to residents of NY.
