The Trip Cancellation benefit covers a number of reasons—most commonly your or a family member's illness. But what if something other than the covered reasons happens, like:
-   You simply change your mind
-   An unexpected event for your child or grandchild
-   A work-related obligation
-   Weather concerns (example: not enough snow for the ski trip)
-   Fear of traveling to an area
-   A personal family issue
-   A pet’s illness
-   Etc.
The Cancel for Any Reason benefit will reimburse up to 75% of your trip costs not covered under the regular Plan benefits. To qualify, coverage must be purchased within 21 days of initial trip deposit (or, for residents of AK, IN or WA, prior to or within 24 hours of initial trip deposit); you must insure 100% of trip costs that are subject to cancellation penalties; and the trip must be cancelled at least 2 days prior to the scheduled departure.

The optional Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) benefit covers you when you cancel for any reason not covered by the Trip Cancellation benefit.

For complete information, see the Description of Coverage.
Up to 75% of non-refundable Trip Cost
(Must be purchased prior to or within 21 days of initial trip payment. AK, IN, WA residents: Must be purchased prior to or within 24 hours of initial trip payment.)

* You must indicate in the Travel Information section of the Enrollment Form the types of pre-paid travel arrangements you are insuring. You should insure 100% of those arrangements that are subject to cancellation penalties or restrictions. Insuring a lesser amount will result in the loss of eligibility for the Pre-Existing Condition Exclusion Waiver. If you make additional non-refundable travel arrangements or change your travel dates after purchasing the Travel Protection Plan, remember to contact us to adjust your policy, keeping in mind the same early purchase time restrictions apply to new trip costs.
