Travel Protection Plan
Medical care away from home, especially outside your home country, can be expensive. For example, U.S. Medicare does not cover medical expenses when you travel outside the U.S.
Avoid the hassle of multiple medical claim forms with this Primary Medical benefit. You’ll save time with the Medical Expense benefit being paid without regard to any other insurance that may cover the expense. This can be a valuable benefit because it will pay without first checking for any other group, blanket health, accident insurance or other personal medical plans you may have that may also cover or partially cover the expense.
The Medical Expense benefit will pay for reasonable and customary medical and surgical services of a physician, nurse or hospital because of a covered Injury or Sickness first occurring on your Trip, up to this benefit’s Maximum Limit. Included are related medication expenses, 90 days of physical therapy, and emergency dental treatment while on the trip.
