Travel Protection Plan w/CFAR
Travel can be expensive. Typically, you need to pre-pay for travel arrangements, and put down deposits on accommodations. What if you later need to cancel your trip? How many of these deposits and pre-payments are non-refundable? How much money could you lose?
The Trip Cancellation benefit covers your travel investment, and will reimburse your non-refundable prepaid Trip payments/deposits, up to the amount you insure, if you cancel before your scheduled departure for unforeseen reasons listed in the Description of Coverage. Covered reasons include your or a traveling companion’s illness, injury, death, a transportation strike, certain carrier delays or inclement weather.
The optional Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) benefit covers you when you cancel for any reason not covered by the Trip Cancellation benefit.
For complete information, see the Description of Coverage.
